Jesus and Politics: Battle Lines
Our second annual conference on the relationship between Christianity and civics.
2021 has seen some incredible posturing, both in our nation and in our Churches. This event is designed to help us all navigate through these tricky waters.

Jesus and Politics 2020
May 30, 2020: “By What Standard?”
(Sorry about the re-rescheduling - Cov-19 complicated everything!)
With all of the confusion surrounding issues like the roles of women in the Church, ethnic reconciliation, and human sexuality, there can be no doubt that the pagans are desperately trying to bring their influence to bear on the believing Church. The question has always been “by what standard?” and now we have an excellent resource that addresses the influx of pagan ideas that have already infiltrated our ranks. We’ll begin at 10:00 am, watch for about an hour, then take a lunch break (provided). Then we’ll finish the film and have a time for discussion.
(Here’s a link to the film if you want to get a head start)
Here we go again!
Picnic After Gideon’s Report
Sunday, July 21, 2019:
It was hot, hot, hot, but it didn’t rain - so we (Suzanne and Bob) grilled a whole lot of deliciousness for us to enjoy.
Looks like we're going for our 2nd hoe-down!
Hopefully we can make this an annual event...
